Then Jesus said to them again, “Most assuredly, I say to you, I am the door of the sheep. All who ever came before Me are thieves and robbers, but the sheep did not hear them. I am the door. If anyone enters by Me, he will be saved, and will go in and out and find pasture.”’ (John 10:7) NKJV

Unsealed Doors of the Golden Gate and the Two Anointed Ones, IM

In the first three articles on the Book of Revelation, we covered the first three Hebrew letters, Aleph, Beth, and Gimel, which I explained suggests that leaders (heads of ministries) must first learn and teach that 1 becomes 1,000 to gather in the House (household of GOD) as they carry the burden of Word of the Lord. Such is the combined meaning of the first three letters. In this article, we will expand upon that theme by asserting that these things lead to the Door- the Daleth- of the spiritual, seven-pillared “Temple of Wisdom.”

_
I, the scribe, explained line-upon-line how each of the seven assemblies (or churches) are actually summaries from God of messages that He sent through the seven millennial days of the heavenly week, from Adam and Eve in the garden to the final call of the elect on the Great Sabbath of the Messiah King. Within that exegesis of the seven days, we briefly considered an open door that is presented in the sixth millennial day- one that the Lord YHVH promised to the House of David. Accordingly, only He who has the Key of David can open and shut it.

Further, we considered how Jews were given an open door to reestablish the nation of Israel- something that faithful Jews had longed for since Vespasian and his son Titus destroyed Jerusalem c. 70 A.D., with the remnant altogether expelled in the Diaspora, 135 A.D. Thereafter, I hinted at much more to this Door than the corporeal event of Jews returning from their long exile. There is a door out of darkness/ignorance for comprehending spiritual/heavenly things (a door into eternal life), and the Messiah has the keys to unlock these things: the Key of Death and Hades (i.e., unseen realm and prison of spiritual darkness).

Thus, in this article we will explore Christ as the Door of life and our spiritual enlightenment, and how enlightenment will ultimately help bring in the rest of the lost children of Israel (and believers adopted via faith) into the coming Kingdom of Heaven.

Messiah Opens Door Into Heavenly Things, PDI
Messiah Opens Door Into Heavenly Things, PDI

The Messiah is the intermediate and ransom between God and humanity- the One manifest as the Substance of Jewish redemption given in shadows of the Torah of God. No human goes to the Father except through Him and the atonement that the Father gives by Him.

The prophets and apostles have known Him, and many people in today’s world are being led by Him via the Word and Spirit of God. By Him- with believers being cleansed- the elect are able to go in and out of the realm of Spirit; some even go before the throne of God.

By His Word comes His Spirit for cleansing those who have faith in it. He is the true Word by whom the coming Kingdom and its entrance are manifest for the elect. Saying that the sheep would have pasture by Him is simply saying that His followers, the sheep, will have a holy land in the Kingdom to live on, and they will be fed by His light. No one will have inheritance into the coming Kingdom of God at Israel except by His approval. Jews have been gathered and many Christian believe, but the Messiah will decide who will stay, go in, or be cast out into outer darkness. Both the spiritual throne and coming earthly throne are unreachable except through God’s Word, the Messiah. Why? Because He is God’s Standard, as a banner of righteousness to mankind: the perfect Word manifest among us. If God is like the symbolic sun, Christ is comparable to its rays of light that reach us. We are able to enter the Spirit by the Word whom we follow. Concerning these things, we should fear missing the Great Sabbath entrance, if we are not willing to faithfully follow His Word and turn back our hearts to God and His ways.

.
“To Him the doorkeeper opens, and His sheep hear His voice; and He calls His own sheep by name and leads them out. And when He brings out His own sheep, He goes before them; and the sheep follow Him, for they know His voice.” (John 10:3-4) NKJV
.
Consider this by the Spirit: Did the fathers of the tribes of Israel have power to return to their father Jacob except by the rainbow-colored coat of Joseph? (See article on Yoseph’s multicolored coat.) Only by that covering, soaked in the blood of sacrifice, were their sins concealed before the great father of the tribes of Israel (Jacob). One shepherd was sent to the other shepherds of Jacob/Israel, and they plotted to kill him in jealousy, in envy of the chosen and trusted shepherd son. From the waterless pit to their selling Joseph to Gentiles for silver, the savior of Israel was first rejected. Then they covered their sins with blood, claiming that a beast slew their then-soon-to-be savior. The sins of the children of Israel are only covered by the blood of the Good Shepherd of God, which the plight of Joseph merely foreshadows.
.
Those who are able to stand before the true Father of Israel, who are able to return to Israel from the fields of the world, will be able to live in His sight during the Sabbath, and an entranceway is granted by that concealing blood. (NB: By “Sabbath” I mean the seventh millennium from Adam’s beginning.) Then the Father of Israel will place the blame on the global “Beast” that is described in Revelation. Hence, all the children of Israel will have their sins covered. In other words, the ancient story is a similitude of the panoramic picture of Messianic redemption. We must confess the blood of the slain Savior of Israel to have an entrance into the Sabbath Kingdom. All who refuse to show the blood of Christ have no cloak of covenant colors, and they will be cast out of the Sabbath Kingdom like Adam and Eve from the Garden of Eden.
.
After Apostle John received veiled messages given to the seven pillar assemblies, he was then made an example for believers as to how the chosen come before Elohim YHVH. His body remained here on Earth, alive on the island of Patmos, but his spirit was called into the spiritual realm to appear before our Spiritual God. Flesh and blood cannot enter the spiritual Kingdom, as Apostle Paul wrote, for appearing before the Spirit has nothing to do with our earthly bodies. And it is not necessary to die and leave Earth to enter into the realm of Heaven.
.
This is scriptural truth, evident by the prophets and righteous priests who were carried away into visions of Heaven while they yet remained on Earth. They did not have to die to venture into the spiritual realm. Elijah did ascend alive into the sky within a fiery whirlwind, but he was only raised in the atmosphere; he later died on Earth. Enoch never saw Death, for God took him (his spirit), but his body indeed died on Earth; we have no reason to believe otherwise. All the prophets who saw similitudes of God and His glory had their spirits taken up in visions and dreams, some with their eyes open while in their bodies, but their living bodies always remained on Earth.
.
Why is this so difficult for believers to perceive, seeing that it scriptural? Indeed, we are in true poverty if we must die before we can witness spiritual things and become spiritual beings, for the Kingdom of Heaven can truly come upon those who do God’s will, and the Kingdom can live inside the believer who embraces the Word and the Holy Spirit. Moreover, the spiritual Kingdom is neither here nor there, as the Messiah said, but it is wherever God is truly made King and Lord. The heart must desire it and search for its Creator.
.
Moedim Paradigm, Daleth, Day of Greater Light and Stars
Daleth, Day of Greater Light and Stars

For those who believe that Elijah never died, such is a belief rather than a fact. Elijah was worn thin over the rebellious nation, and he wished for death and peace of mind. Thus, the Lord YHVH, merciful and kind, instructed him to raise-up a prophet to take up his mantle of authority- namely, Prophet Elisha. Yet Elisha would not let him walk away, and Elisha was in need of looking to God rather than his mentoring prophet; he had a lot of Divine work to do.

Thus, the Lord YHVH took Prophet Elijah so that he could live the rest of his days in peace, as much as his spirit would allow him. Yet, when some years had passed, and when the murderous deeds of wicked King Yehoram began spilling over, Prophet Elijah, by his own hand, wrote him a letter that pronounced God’s judgment, for his zeal did not die (see 2 Chron. 21:12-15).

If Prophet Elijah did not die, in the view of Christians and Jews, why does he have an ancient tomb in which the children of False Prophet Mohammad, specifically ISIS, destroyed just this last year? And why has he been born again as one of the “two witnesses” of Revelation? Is it realistic to believe that he would descend from the heavens to preach for 3.5 years before the son of Satan, the Antichrist, kills him in Jerusalem? No, Elijah died, and Elijah lives, and God will continue in His pattern of bringing people into this world via the matrix of maternity.

_
All men and women die through Adam, and all live to hear the Gospel through Christ’s sacrifice, at least until there is time no more in this Age of Grace. When Messiah told His apostles that they would not see Death (cf. John 8:51; 11:26), He explained that they would pass from life to life, but their old flesh did indeed die. Some of their graves are with us to this day.
_
As for Enoch, Scripture explains that “he was not, for God took him.” Yet he is listed by Paul among those who died, having not seen the promises of the coming Kingdom at Jerusalem fulfilled (see Heb. 11:5, 13, 16). Saying that Enoch “was not” was an old Hebrew way of saying ‘he’s not alive, for God took him.’
.
This solemn expression of death is seen in a few other passages. The phrasing is similar to that which we sometimes say today in English: ‘He is no longer with us.’ Joseph, whom his brothers thought was dead, was described in the same manner as Enoch. Not only that, but his brothers expected even the Egyptians of the age to comprehend what they meant:
.
And they said, “Your servants are twelve brethren, the sons of one man in the land of Canaan; and, behold, the youngest is this day with our father, and one is not.” (Gen. 42:13) NKJV; emp. mine
.
This linguistic allusion to death, in saying someone was no more, is evident in other Scriptures, showing that there is no reason to believe that Enoch did not die. If someone today said, ‘Sorry, he’s no more; God took him,’ we would not immediately conclude that the one spoken of had risen bodily into the clouds as an immortal being. The reason Enoch’s death is distinctly worded is because he walked with God and was revered in his time; he never suffered death, for God took him instantly.
_
The Bible’s elusive phrasing on Enoch and Elijah does not give anyone a license to insist that they were raised in the flesh into Heaven. To further support this, we should ask ourselves if the evil men whom David described with similar phrasing were raised physically immortal.
.
Yet he passed away, and, lo, he was not: yea, I sought him, but he could not be found. (Psalm 37:36) KJV; emp. mine
.
God took Enoch away and instantly translated his spirit to spiritual paradise, sometimes called “Abraham’s bosom” in Scripture, where the righteous awaited Messiah and hoped for their part in the restored Kingdom of God on Earth. But this is spiritual, even as Paul explained that God “hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated [transferred] us into the kingdom of his dear Son.” The spiritual kingdom is not only for those who die, but is available now and is near unto each of us. Have we been translated in our physical forms to the Kingdom of Heaven, as written by Paul? No, of course not, for we discern that something more was meant by the apostle.
.
Prepare the Pathway of our Lord our Savior
Prepare the Pathway of our Lord our Savior

Some of the same Christians who say, “It is appointed for all men once to die,” not knowing all the Scriptures, posture that Enoch and Elijah did not die. They abuse this verse as their one New Covenant passage to assert that people are not born again. Yet they will not reference it for its simple meaning: that all have to die until we are made eternally alive by Christ! And if they postulate that all must die, what of those who are still alive in the flesh when Messiah comes- those counted worthy to reign with Him? Hence, the passage cannot possibly be all inclusive. God is the God of the living, not the dead, as Christ has said; and we were made to have both Heaven and Earth.

The spiritual realm is not subject to natural laws of time and space; the corporeal laws were put in place by God for this worldly existence, but the spiritual realm is instantly available to any and every believer, as God so chooses. When believers learn to be lit within, talk within, and walk within the Kingdom within each of us (i.e., if it is not darkened through indifference and sin), they come to discern that the spiritual Kingdom is not some distant place in the cosmos that needs space in the heavens above, but it is of a united holiness linked together by the vast Spirit of God. His Holy Spirit covers all of creation, and, poetically, He wraps Himself in the stars as a garment. Hence, there may be billions of worlds for trillions of stars in our universe, but the spiritual Kingdom transcends them all, with the Spirit enveloping all of creation.

After these things I looked, and behold, a door standing open in heaven. And the first voice which I heard was like a trumpet speaking with me, saying, “Come up here, and I will show you things which must take place after this.” Immediately I was in the Spirit; and behold, a throne set in heaven, and One sat on the throne. And He who sat there was like a jasper and a sardius stone in appearance; and there was a rainbow around the throne, in appearance like an emerald. (Rev. 4:1-3) NKJV; emp. mine
.
The prophets of the Old Covenant understood the need for an intermediate between God and mankind. Elihu, meaning God is his, was the only completely righteous adviser to Job during his great tribulations. He explained the need of a “mediator” and a “ransom” to prevent mankind from going down to the pit, and he declared this as a “spokesperson before God,” having truth from the “Spirit of God.” He explained that people who have this ransom also receive flesh “like a child’s” once again, returning to their youth even beyond their old age. He also spoke of how we can see in Spirit when we are united to God, although so few are lit within enough to perceive it:
.
“For God may speak in one way, or in another, yet man does not perceive it. In a dream, in a vision of the night, when deep sleep falls upon men, while slumbering on their beds, then He opens the ears of men, and seals their instruction. In order to turn man from his deed, and conceals pride from man, He keeps back his soul from the Pit, and his life from perishing by the sword.” (Job 33:14-18) NKJV
.
The point to this is that when we have an intermediate in Messiah, we, too, are able to receive visions and prophetic dreams from God, being in the Spirit of God and being instructed by God unto salvation, even during the tribulations of the elect. The natural man does not awaken within, and he does not perceive the dreams and visions given by the Lord, but the spiritually redeemed, having his or her heart inclined to the things of God, awakens more and more to receive of this spiritual Kingdom. Many readers have already received instructions from God in which their souls know while their mortal minds do not have the knowledge and discernment to interpret visions from the holy realm.
.
After reading this article, many of you who have slept in darkness for a long time will be awakened in your spirit to see things anew, because the Spirit of God spreads, and the Spirit is in His Word, working through His messengers like new programming for the minds of those who begin to hear His small, still voice. You will begin to receive more from the living God, and your faiths in the God of the living will indeed be increased. You will no longer consider our assembling before God’s throne as a physical place that bodies are raptured into, but a spiritual awakening of the Kingdom is coming upon you. You will no longer have to await death to perceive spiritual things or hope in a priestly mediator, but the Lord will be your Mediator and your living Kingdom. You will learn how God speaks in spiritual symbolism to instruct you, for the Holy Spirit will be your Guide.

Baker's Symbolic Dream, PDI
Baker’s Symbolic Dream, PDI

And for those who are only now awakening to the Spirit- just beginning to see things beyond the realm of the material world- you should be careful in what you will believe. The visions of God are accompanied by His Holy Spirit with no evil presented in fear or tempting of sin; if the Spirit does warn of evil, or shows sins committed, He usually shows it in symbols that need His interpretation (e.g., fate of the baker), or by plain words of the messengers of His Spirit. All dark dreams of fear and sin are of the Enemy- the evil spirit who seeks to invade and distort the lines of communication between God and His people.

Even when God plainly shows the sins of the people to the prophets, they are in His holiness and not servants of the evils that they witness; they are awake even within their sleep. Communication is the forefront of the spiritual battle, and Satan seeks to come as a “messenger of light” to deceive, or in the darkness of fear to destroy faith; so those who are awakening should not act or believe hastily, but test all things by the Scripture and petitions in sincere prayers. Things revealed by God are usually prophetic and come to pass, confirmed in undeniable ways, but those things revealed by Satan are but to turn souls back to darkness and to darken faiths by false lights. Further, Satan would prefer that all people remain asleep within; yet in these last days God is pouring His Holy Spirit upon as many as are willing to receive and believe, as Joel prophesied.

In Prophet John’s vision, he saw a door into heaven that showed that he would receive revelations through Christ into spiritual things. There are many spiritual doors, but only one true Door: the Living Word. John answered the call in his spirit and entered the living vision to receive prophetic truths of that which is to come upon the world. (The trumpet sound of the voice he heard expressed warning and need for preparation of the people of the Lord, as well as direction for appearing before the Most High.) After entering through the door, symbolic of the Divine Word, John saw the similitude of the true Rock which is God with a rainbow around His throne, as was seen by Prophet Ezekiel. This symbolism shows us that the Lord sits securely in His place, reigning over the universe, strong and unmovable like a great rock or mountain.
.
What Lord YHVH sat unmovable upon is His work of salvation for His people- as expressed by the rainbow that surrounded His throne. Remember how the Lord gave Noah the rainbow as a token of the covenant of salvation (see Gen. 9:8-17). Remember how Prophet Daniel saw God as a mountain in his dream, from whom the Rock Messiah was foretold to come and save Israel (see Dan. 2:34-35; 44-45). Thus, the entire theme of John’s vision was one of salvation for the elect and warning of punishment for the wicked who refuse redemption. The throne was also likened to an emerald to show value in salvation, and it concerns the awaited time when the Lord makes up His “Jewels” from His saved elect. His Jewels are His special elect whom He saves out of the thoroughly corrupted world of end-times (cf. Zech. 9:14-16; Mal. 3:17-18).
.
Now this is the answer to the mystery of why the rainbow is a spiritual sign of God’s salvation in the world (for those who have not read the article on Yoseph’s tunic), beyond the beauty of its colors: Rainbows form by the revealing light of the Sun of Righteousness shining on the waters of the Word in the midst of Heaven, even as the physical mist of waters fall to Earth. These tokens of salvation- rainbows- arc from heaven in two paths down to the earth, which are the appearances of the Messiah at His two great manifestations.
.
As a second confession, rainbows come in doubles, with one of the appearances being more difficult to perceive than the other. This is how the colors of the rainbow witnesses to Salvation: Christ is the pure white Light of the world, greater than the sun, but His Word is revealed to us by the invisible prism of the Holy Spirit, who shows variations of His salvation in the Word through foreshadowing stories, like colors. When a white light shines through a crystal-clear prism, various united colors are perceived, yet they all confess to that one Light of Christ. These colors are the Scriptures and stories of the Word. The entire Bible is about God’s salvation and Light given to the world, and the entire book confesses to that one Light who is the Messiah. The stories appear different, like colors of various wavelengths, but they are indeed bound to one Truth in the Light of the world.
.
Father's House, One Light For Foundations, IM
Father’s House, One Light For Foundations, IM

The stories appear different because the invisible Spirit shows the same theme in various likenesses, but they are of the same Lord. Some of the stories readily appear bright to confess Christ, like Abraham taking his son Isaac to sacrifice him on Mount Moriah; this would be like the color yellow, which is easily perceived as witnessing to the pure white Light which is Messiah.

Other stories of Scripture demand deeper study to perceive the Light of God; these are like the color blue. Noah’s ark would be more like the color blue to many believers because it has many details that are not immediately perceived to witness to that one, true Light. Yet, even the darker colors, when we are adjusted by the Teacher of Righteousness and the invisible Spirit, profess to us God’s work in the Messiah, even down to the last detail of the story.

Hence, we perceive that all of God’s Word is His witnessing token of salvation (His rainbow) that the Lord YHVH sent down from Heaven to humankind, confessing His covenants as a banner of love over us. He is the true Token of salvation who both ascends and descends from Heaven.

All of creation was designed with spiritual implications that explain salvation out of the struggles between good and evil. This explanation of the rainbow as a token is not something I reasoned together. The Teacher of Righteousness showed me this in a twilight vision as I stood beside the invisible Spirit. And the Spirit adjusted me by my shoulders in the midst of a pathway of colors so that I could learn to see the various colors and comprehend their meaning. They passed by as segregated shades of gray beams until the brightness of the colors ran through me in unison.
.
This was explained to me over a decade ago as I searched for the greater meaning of Joseph’s rainbow-colored tunic, which, again, was covered with blood to conceal the sins of the children of Israel. Every book and story of the Bible is like a unique color that appears different than other Bible stories, but they are united in their confession of the “Light of the world.” This is the true interpretation of the rainbow, not something that belongs to me. The Messiah stood nearby and watched as the invisible Spirit taught me and moved me by my shoulders, adjusting my vision.
.
“No one has ascended to heaven [in the flesh] but He who came down from heaven, that is, the Son of Man who is in heaven.” (John 3:13) NKJV
.
Did I ascend into Heaven to be in the presence of the Lord? No, my body was asleep, like any other night, but I was awake in my spirit, and it was as real as being awake in body. I knew that my body was asleep and that my spirit was elsewhere. Nor did I ascend into the spiritual realm by my own power or will, but God chose to answer my prayer and to reveal the meaning of the colors for His own sake. The key is to know which heaven the Lord and His scribes speak of in biblical passages.
.
As Revelation readers begin to interpret the vision given to John, we should consider that the Lord first shows us that the vision was given in symbolism. Is God really a rock? Not necessarily, He is Spirit, but spiritual qualities of God were shown to the apostle. Does the Messiah walk around in Heaven as a slain, bloody lamb with seven eyes? No, but the vision was showing spiritual truths of Heaven that John needed to disclose. This truth should be kept in mind throughout the vision of Revelation; the Lord can show the likeness of His throne in any way that He chooses, but He showed things in Revelation that, as a vision, need interpretation.
.
Again, the prophets entered the spiritual Kingdom in spirit to see what the Lord wanted them to see. Elijah was bodily raised into the atmosphere before the Messiah, but that was a sign to be understood in latter times, and so that his weary soul could pass the burden to another. Anyone wanting to see a fire in a whirlwind can watch YouTube videos or The Weather Channel, and they will probably not be very impressed because of  today’s high standards of sensationalism. The meaning behind Elijah’s ascension has implications to be perceived. The whirlwind of God’s spiritual activities stir the winds of Heaven, drawing spirits of His beloved ones into fiery revelations. Within this stirring activity is a chariot of fire because the Lord calls the prophets to make spiritual warfare for refinement, waging warfare against many principalities in dark spiritual places- evil in the midst of the air.
.
Those who want to be “caught-up” in the heavens should join this vortex that cyclically spins to every direction with the Sword of the Spirit. No rebellious “wind of doctrine” will be able to stand before it, for it clears a pathway for the coming King of Kings and Lord of Lords.
.
When Messiah came speaking in parables, He was not simply acting mysterious to leave people guessing, He was teaching the elect to ponder spiritual things. People had to think and compare the creations of God; they had to learn to discern symbolism in short parables so that they could mature to perceive even deeper truths that God has hidden from the spiritually undiscerning- things in visions, dreams, prophecies and stories of Scripture. When Yeshua said that He came down from Heaven, did it mean that He was not born in the flesh via the matrix of womanhood? We know better, and all His disciples knew His earthly mother was Mary. Hence, we find that we must think outside the theological box to understand.
.
Consider some of the dreams and visions of Scripture that had to be properly interpreted by the Spirit so that the people would act according to God’s prescribed plans of salvation. For example, would Egypt and Israel have been saved by God through Joseph’s planning had Joseph failed to discern that the seven, lean cows and seven, lean ears of corn represented seven years of severe famine in the region? Could Daniel have saved so many people from the wrath of King Nebuchadnezzar if he had not been able to know and interpret the dreams of the king? Would Peter have brought the Gospel of salvation to Gentiles if he had not understood that the unclean animals in his vision represented Gentiles being spiritually cleansed? Likewise, God has given His elect the Book of Revelation to help those who will receive the door of inheritance and reign with Him, and it must be properly interpreted by the Holy Spirit.
.
Like Joseph, Daniel, Peter, et. al, people must act according to the salvation expressed in symbolism in order to direct the elect in this world. We can no more expect a seven-headed beast to arise from the Great Sea than Daniel could expect seven lean cows to come out of the Nile and thereafter eat the seven fattened cows. By now, however, most Bible-believers reading his article know that Revelation needs interpretation, but I write as if to infants so that some might speedily mature in spiritual things.
.
When a believer becomes skilled in interpreting the things of God by the Spirit and the Word of God, a whole new door of understanding is opened to them.  Important dreams are no longer cast away as mere peculiar oddities. Revelation’s instructions are no longer discarded as nothing more than entertaining apocalyptic literature, in which no one can be completely sure of its proper interpretation. Bible stories no longer leave readers baffled and blinded to their enigmatic circumstances and allusions, for they are comprehended in detail for the higher, prophetic implications that they hide.
.
This is not written to suggest that the stories of Scripture should be spiritualized-away as untrue; it simply means that the true stories of Scripture were shaped to have both their surface level of understanding and prophetic meanings. Messiah came teaching simple parables to raise-up a host of believers who possess the necessary understanding to go back to the Old Testament and interpret foreshadowing events. Each time a foreshadowing story is fully and properly interpreted, more detail of the panoramic plan of salvation and inheritance of the Kingdom is added to the mind of the believer, like an updated computer program. If the Kingdom of Heaven was simply a physical place where we die to go, instructed scribes would not need to assemble passages from both the Old and the New Covenants to declare it, as Christ, our King, explained.

Paul understood many of these things, being a master among Pharisaic rabbis (as Saul). He used teaching phrases like “cloud of witnesses,” “water of the Word,” and the “Rock which followed them.” Paul touched on shadows and prophetic portents that teachers during this apocalyptic age are more fully expounding upon. Yes, many of those entering the coming Kingdom of God will have more understanding than Paul did almost 2,000 years ago.

Messiah said that there was no greater prophet than John the Baptist, but even the blazing lamp of his time on Earth would be considered least in comparison to the coming citizens of the Kingdom. (This is not to say that all believers today will be greater, more spiritual, or more devoted to God, but, if willing, they will comprehend more than Apostle Paul and others had in ages past. Everything has a time to be revealed, for all things must be restored, and many things were sealed until the end of the millennial workweek.)

“So let no one judge you in food or in drink, or regarding a festival [moedim, appointed times] or a new moon or Sabbaths, which are a shadow of things to come, but the substance is of Christ.” (Col. 2:16-17) NKJV; intrpl. mine

True humility is sitting at the feet of the Lord like Mary did, caring enough to learn of His truths. False humility teaches that God loves for us to be simple and ignorant in our faiths, as if our being stuck in the dark somehow glorifies the Lord’s light. God did not give us His Word for us to see His glory as something that cannot be comprehended, but He gave us His Word for it to be fully understood for confession unto His glory. Being willfully ignorant of the things of God is not a token of faith, but rather an insult given by spirits who do not care enough to follow the Lord’s instructions; for the Lord calls us to seek Him and the Kingdom with all of our hearts. Faith is not our believing while declaring that we cannot know the deep things of God; faith is in learning the Word of God and believing and acting upon upon what we have learned.

All day long the children perish for their lack of knowledge, Scriptures inform us, but those who are humble learn the saving instructions of the Lord. Some have said that the Bible is “basic instructions before leaving Earth,” but this is only partly true; the Bible is “bold instructions for believers living on Earth.” The doctrines of ignorance for the god solely of the dead will not stand, but the righteous will live by faith in God’s Word with the God of the living, on Earth and in spirit. Any preacher or priest who teaches otherwise hinders the children of God in their spiritual growth.

“Around the throne were twenty-four thrones, and on the thrones I saw twenty-four elders sitting, clothed in white robes; and they had crowns of gold on their heads.” (Rev. 4:4) KJV
.
It takes little imagination to see the connection between the 24 thrones around the throne of God to the 24 hours in a day. The 24 hours of a day were designed by God to witness to works He predetermined for the order and salvation of humanity. The Lord rules over every hour of the day and has 24 special thrones set-up to rule with the Messiah. God chose the twelve patriarchs of Israel and twelve apostles to lead in the establishment of the Old and New covenants with the elect. There are twelve hours in a Hebrew night, and they are followed by twelve of the day, just as there is judgment by the Law and redemption by the Spirit.
.
These 24 represent the reign of the entire Word of God, both from the Old Covenant and the New. From the New Covenant, the Lord declared to His twelve apostles that they would sit on twelve thrones reigning with Him over Israel (see Matt. 19:28). From the Old Covenant are the twelve princes of Israel. This truth is later seen in the spiritual description of New Jerusalem; both the twelve apostles and the twelve patriarchs are mentioned as the foundations and gates of the city from which Messiah will reign (see Rev. 21:12-14). These 24 thrones that were predetermined (see Matt. 20:23) show that the Lord will unite all His people into one. Those who formed the beginning of national Israel, who received the shadows, and those who were appointed to begin the New Covenant, who had the light and substance of the Messiah, will be united from shadows to substance, with a new Heaven and a new Earth under one Lord.
.
“And from the throne proceeded lightenings, thunderings, and voices. Seven lamps of fire were burning before the throne, which are the seven Spirits of God.” (Rev. 4:5) NKJV
.
It has already been explained how the Lord’s Spirit goes out to the seven millennial days, which is why the Menorah was designed after the pattern in Heaven to be placed in the Holy Place of the Temple. The seven torches are the same as the seven candles of God’s Spirit. Torches, however, are greater than candles, which reveals that at the coming time of the Messiah’s reign, with those 24 elders, the light of God’s Spirit will be brighter among mankind than it has been with the lights given to the seven millennial assemblies. In the same way, the Rock cut out of the Mountain will grow into a Mountain that fills the entire world. Then we will discern more clearly.
.
The lightening, thundering, and voices direct readers back to the revelation of God given to the Hebrews in the day of Moses. The bringing of the Word of God- the Torah- was accompanied by these; thus this clearly shows a new meeting with the Lord, with new revelation, completing His work in Israel and the seven millenniums.
.
So far we see all these things as an example for us in John. We hear the Lord’s trumpet call to come to Him. Being in spirit, we enter heavenly revelations by the Door which is Christ, being called to see what is to come during the Apocalypse. We see God sitting in control, with the banner of salvation surrounding His throne. We understand that the Lord’s Spirit has been sent out for the seven days. We hear the voices that come from God, accompanied by thunder and lightning, being reminiscent of when the Hebrews were appointed to appear before God.
.
Before the throne there was a sea of glass, like crystal. And in the midst of the throne, and around the throne, were four living creatures full of eyes in the front and back. The first living creature was like a lion, the second living creature like a calf, the third living creature had a face like a man, and the fourth living creature was like a flying eagle. The four living creatures, each having six wings, were full of eyes around and within. And they did not rest day or night, saying: “Holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty, who was and is and is to come!” (Rev. 4:6-7) NKJV
.
At first read these bizarre creatures seem out of place and unworthy of being around God’s holy throne, and before the thrones of His Kingdom kings. Yet the Lord gave them their places because they each show characteristics of the saved elect. These are His elect of the earth, which is why they are praising the Lord, saying, “…who was and is and is to come!” Their words point towards the Messiah’s coming to Earth, as He also said, “I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End, who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty.”  In spiritual heaven God is eternally there, but when speaking of every eye seeing the Lord coming, even those who pierced Him, he gives this explanation of His people on Earth watching. The creatures, like the animals seen in the vision of Peter, are the elect who worship the Lord and await His return on Earth, the watchers of the Kingdom. Moreover, this is why they said “…is to come” even though they were already spiritually in the presence of God and the Lamb.
.
Hence, they show the elect as being bold as lions, like the Lion of Judah, sacrificial as calves, as He was sacrificed, spiritual in flight as eagles, even as He has ascended, and made in God’s own image as mankind. They are able to lead, and they are able to be herded by the Shepherd; they are able to be heavenly, and they are earthly man. They are all also filled with the eyes of the Spirit, as the watchers of the Word. Their SIX WINGS show the ascension of mankind through the six millenniums before the throne of the Lord comes to Earth. John was brought to the end of the sixth millennium, into the doorway of the Great Sabbath, which is where the seven years of the Apocalypse begin, where he saw from there into the Day of the Lord and further glimpsed the 8th Day Assembly (Shemini Atzereth) at the Great White Throne.
.
Ezekiel saw similar representatives of the people of God, each with FOUR WINGS, which explains the flight of mankind until the fourth millennium, which the prophet was in. When Ezekiel saw these beasts, he became very afraid, but God directed him not to be terrified or afraid of the people he was sent to prophesy to. The Lord was clearly comparing the composite creatures to the elect watchers– or the people whom He called to observe His ways.
.
Ezekiel, however, went into more details of these creatures concerning Israel, explaining them as a mix of creature and machine. They had wheels and fire from their “loins downward” in one vision. (Remember that the spiritual visions must be interpreted according to their earthly manifestations.) The extra features of the Israelite creatures may also allude to the Lord’s chosen nation during the Apocalypse, when He and His elect fly “as birds” over Jerusalem to defend it. Below are some of the aircraft-like features of the creatures that the prophet saw, which caused a “tumult like noise of an army”:
.
  • Each creature had four wings, two on each side of his body (or fuselage), stretched straight out above him (1:6, 11).
  • Each creature took-off straight forward, whichever direction their spirits compelled them to go (1:12).
  • When they took-off, they had something like afterburners, burning like coals of fire, like torches going back and forth among them (1:13).
  • From the bright fires of their loins they went forward as lightning, in the prophet’s understanding, coming and going as flashes of lightning (1:13-14).
  • Their wheels rested on the earth and had the color of beryl, with the wheels being identical and having wheels within their wheels, or axles in the middle of the wheels (see 1:16).
  • They went out in all four directions of the earth and took-off straight forward when they went (1:17).
  • The rims of the wheels were high and intimidating, full of what looked like eyes- possibly lug nuts? (1:18).
  • When they took-off from the earth, their wheels were lifted-up with them (1:19).
  • The power/spirit  and direction of the living creatures were in the wheels when they took-off (1:20).
  • When they stood, they stood on their wheels, and when they took-off, the wheels were lifted up inside of them (1:21).
  • A crystal-like dome stretched forth over their heads (1:22).
  • Under the crystal firmament were their wings stretched straight out, with two on each side of their fuselage (1:23).
  • When they took-off it sounded like the rushing of many waters (1:24).
  • A loud voice came out above or at the top of the crystal domes (1:25).
  • Lifted-up to the top of the crystal dome was something like a throne or seat, with the appearance of a man sitting on it (1:26).
  • They had brightness around them, and fire came out from their loins or rears (1:27).

It takes little imagination to conclude that a better description of modern aircraft could hardly have been given from someone who lived around 2,500 years ago, who had never seen anything like the “living creatures.”

I, the scribe, am no aircraft expert, although I did graduate from two schools in the United States Marine Corps for aircraft mechanics (MOS 6011 for C-130s). Although God has not assured me, in my humble opinion, Ezekiel saw creatures representing both the Lord’s elect of his time and an end-time air force of his people that will come with the Lord as birds over Jerusalem.

I do not believe that God is confined to ancient imagery and allegory when showing symbols of His army; He is just as likely to reveal modern aircraft as fiery war chariots of the ancients. It may only be coincidence that one of the visions of these creatures has so many similarities to aircraft, yet I cannot help but applaud the prophet’s detailed description, given that the vocabulary of the ancients did compensate for airplanes, tanks, automobiles, etc.

For thus the LORD has spoken to me: “As a lion roars [Lion of Judah], and as a young lion over His prey (when a multitude of shepherds is summoned against him, He will not be afraid of their voice nor be disturbed by their noise), so the LORD of hosts will come down to fight for Mount Zion and for its hill. Like birds flying about, so will the LORD of hosts defend Jerusalem. Defending, He will also deliver it; passing over, He will preserve it.” (Is. 31:4-5) NKJV; intrpl. mine

Yes, it is true; my understanding of the Lord’s coming in the clouds, battling nations gathered against Jerusalem and Israel, is not of He and His saints riding white horses from outer space. Revelation symbolism offers spiritual pictures of a very real war that will manifest on Earth, in earthly terms. To me this is the Lord destroying the enemies with the “brightness of His coming,” with the heaven above engulfing itself as Hebrew scrolls (which roll-up inside of themselves from both ends). The sword of His mouth is His Word and His command. This creates the smoke of heaven and the “destroying winds” described by Prophet Jeremiah. This is the plague of panic that the Lord will utilize on the enemies of Israel, which destroys every person and animal in their military camps, with their flesh consumed away before their bones can fall to the ground (see Zech. 14:12-15). This is the “consuming fire” of His wrath that ignites the elements of heaven above. This is His revelation in the clouds of heaven, and this is the weapon of the blacksmith who blows the coals in the fire “to bring forth an instrument of his work,” as Prophet Isaiah described.

Of course, we are free to picture Christ riding a literal white horse through the clouds, delivering a fireball from His mouth at the Battle of Armageddon. Yet the event of either interpretation would certainly appear glorious and miraculous to the elect who lived over 2,000 years ago; indeed, the aircraft bombing scenario may have appeared even more glorious in their eyes. Am I now accursed, dear Christians, for interpreting prophetic Scriptures differently than that which most of you are accustomed?

At the door of Revelation, Prophet John’s vision refers readers back to Ezekiel’s vision for a reason. Ezekiel was one of the Jewish captives of Babylon, yet he saw beyond the destruction of Jerusalem and Solomon’s Temple; he foresaw a glorious New Jerusalem and Temple of God in the last days. (NB: The meaning of it astonished the prophet for seven days.) Comparatively, in Revelation the Lord’s people are called to escape Babylon for a return to Jerusalem. One of the primary reasons for God giving the Book of Revelation is to call the people out of the corrupt Babylonian system to become part of the true Bride/citizenry of the coming King and Kingdom. It is not only an unveiling of Messiah but also an unveiling of those who will join the Kingdom with Him.
.
The difference between Jews returning from Babylonian Captivity and the Apocalypse’s call to escape, when “the Spirit and the Bride, say, ‘Come,'” is that the latter return from Babylon will be global in its call rather than national, with people (including lost Israelites) brought in from all over the world- a great gathering foreshadowed by the Feats of Ingathering or Sukkot.
.
Whenever the living creatures give glory and honor and thanks to Him who sits on the throne, who lives forever and ever, the twenty-four elders fall down before Him who sits on the throne and worship Him who lives forever and ever, and cast their crowns before the throne, saying, “You are worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honor and power; for you created all things, and by Your will they exist and were created.” (Rev. 4:9-11)
.
One last thing concerning the four creatures who represent the elect of God, spread to the four corners of the earth: They are seen in the vision as being in His likeness, and each creature expresses a type of deliverance of the people of God. God is called a “lion” in Scripture when He delivers His people. God also shows Himself as an eagle when He leads the people, just as when He bore the Hebrews “on eagles’ wings” from Egyptian captivity (see Ex. 19:4). He also saves through mankind, through the Son of Man.” Finally, the calf shows His sacrifice via Messiah, as foreshadowed in the sacrifices of Holy Torah. Yet the “Lion of Judah,” who carries His people from bondage on eagles’ wings, who is a man of sacrifice, has another image in which He shows Himself while declaring these revelations of salvation: “The Lamb.” As we shall consider in the next article, there is a Lamb with seven horns of power for their deliverance and seven eyes- eyes that span the seven heavenly days.
